Young Tagger Stuck and Killed on Highway 60, Riverside County
A Riverside teenager witnesses said was tagging the center divider of Highway 60 near Hall Avenue died early today when he was flung over the center divider after being hit by a car and run over by several other vehicles, the California Highway Patrol said in a news release.
Blake Locko, 17, was pronounced dead at the scene, the news release said.
Witnesses reported Locko and another person standing in the car pool lane of westbound Highway 60 about 2:15 a.m. when Locko was struck by a 1995 Saturn driven by Pomona resident Ramon Rodriguez, 22.
The force of the collision sent Locko flying over the 5-foot concrete center divider into the eastbound car pool lane where he was hit by other cars, the news release said.
There was no information about what happened to the other individual standing with Locko.
Colton resident Anthony Gicking, 27, returned to the scene after striking Locko in the eastbound lane.
Rodriguez, who suffered moderate neck injuries, was transported to Riverside Community Hospital for treatment, the news release said.

Damn, that sucks. I know the 2 people in the car that him an sent him flying over the divider. they were wide alert and awake and i guess Blanke was running or something across the freeway when they struck him. the driver’s airbag popped out and broke his neck after he hit him.
i do not know this kid but it is very sad and i was reading the comments and some of them really piss me off how those people can be so inconsiderate .. no not everyone is perfect we are all human and make bad decisions .. im sure if this kid knew that was going to happen he would not have done that .. but you know what if his car broke down and he was on the side of the rode waiting for help and that same driver came along nothing would have changed you know it was not his fault and i feel really sorry for his family and friends!!!! @ MiZxReBlZ I totally agree he was my cousin and his funeral was today. He had over 400 people from his school attend. Not to mention family and close friends along with teachers from his whole life and many the bishop as well. It was a hard day but his funeral was beautiful and the things that were said about him that I have read on toher sites is just sickening. I just can’t believe they would find things funny or say such things like “The car only hit him once!” I just don’t know what is wrong with some people these days.
