Remembering Kerse BTM 3A TKO

Posted by on Nov 1, 2010 in Graffiti, New Graf Pics, War 42 | 0 comments

Nov 8 2008
Kerse BTM 3A TKO tragically died. His memories and name lives on today world wide. From San Fransisco, Seattle, New York City, Los Angeles and Dallas, to Rhode Island, Paris, Amsterdam and many more places. Everyone who met Kerse only have good things to say about him, and he’s been and still is an inspiration to many writers.

Kathleen / Morgan, KERSE’S Mom
People consider Morgan to be a quite soul. Funny, he never was with me and really isn’t now.. I hear him all the time. I can still hear him as he followed me around the house trying to defend Graffiti. Morgan showed me magazines, explained how people in Europe were paid for their work. Morgan had a passion for his Graffiti…..I felt it then and understand it completely now. I am so very proud of my Morgan / KERSE BTM 3A TKO!!!!! I’m proud of all Graffiti Artists, as I do feel their passion for their art, and Thank them for keeping Morgan up. Whenever I see a KERSE up here in Seattle, I smile and feel Morgan smiling too. God Bless theWriters and Keep them safe.

Interview with Lord Ezec of DMS

Ezec

DMS + TKO = you're fucked

Few crews inspire as much fear, gossip, and respect as New York legends DMS. If you have War 4, you’ve seen MQ repping DMS nationwide, and they’ve been a fixture in the hardcore scene for well over two decades. I interviewed one of DMS’ most infamous members, Lord Ezec a while back. You might know him from bands like Skarhead, Crown of Thornz, and Icepick (with Hatebreed’s Jamey Jasta), his hip hop records as Danny Diablo, or fucking up one of your friends over some dumb shit they did. I was fortunate enough to interview him a while back:

Back in the day I always wanted to work at the Relatively warehouse in Queens because I heard it was a good way to get your foot in the door if you wanted to become an authentic member of the NYHC scene. What kind of people worked there, and who was the shotcaller??
My brother Scot worked their and he actually got me the job cause he got locked up 18 years ago for murder and will be out in 2 more years!!! Bennet was my real boss and Mike Scorcesse of Vietnom was my fake boss. Everyone had a criminal record at that job. Homicide cops knew MQ and I by our real names cause at least 3 people at that warehouse were arrested for murder when I worked there. The cops would look at us and arrest someone who worked there and then be at our crib later on in the week harassing us for our boy was on the run for murder also. Petey Hines, Anthony Communale, Sick Of It All and many more N.Y.H.C. legends worked there too.
